Wow... that's all I can say.... it's been a great week away
We set off from Lincolnshire last weekend with no set plan - just to see as many places as we could in a week and fly the drones as much as possible
We drove into the night and arrived on the North Wales coast around 10pm. The weather was against us but we still manged over twenty flights and we saw some incredible places
The idea being that we write a feature for Drone User Magazine, telling our readers all about our experiences
We took our motorhome conversion - we built it last year, just for drone expeditions, all over Europe
We visited many wonderful places throughout the week, including Criccieth Castle on the Welsh coast
Conwy Castle was another great place. We flew the Mavic over the water to get a great view of this superb castle
Betws-y-Coed was an early morning flight as it was far too busy during the day. We did however catch some stunning low cloud shots
One of our favorite locations this week was Barmouth. Despite gusts of wind, we managed to fly the Mavic over the estuary whilst the tide was out. The colours were amazing
We stumbled over the TreTowers complex. Stunning from the air and a nice easy flight
After a lovely week in Wales, then Staffordshire, not wanting to drive the same road twice, we went home via Norfolk and stayed on the Broads. We visited Beccles where we flew the church and the lido
All in all it was a great success and we had some interesting flights. You can read all about our trip in the next issue of Drone User Magazine, online for free on the 1st September at www.droneusermagazine.com
