Yuneec take on the Mavic

Just as DJI announce the release of two new versions of the Mavic, Yuneec have shown their hand and announced the launch of the Mantis and they'll be praying that it keeps them at the top of their game.

It looks like a pretty cool drone and it has some great tech packed into it's tiny frame.

It's a foldable drone, just like the mavic and it's aimed at the travellers who want to capture the perfect selfie.

One thing we do like about the Mantis is the artificial intelligence built it. Not only does it respond to voice commands but it's got facial recognition too.

Launching soon at £499 it's certainly going to be a competitor to the new Mavics and it's considerably cheaper
